2. Introduction
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Federal Act (Data Protection Act, DPA), every person has the right to the protection of their privacy as well as protection against misuse of their personal data. We, as the operators of this website, take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.
In cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as best as possible against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or falsification.
Please note that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by email) can have security vulnerabilities. A complete protection of the data from access by third parties is not possible.
By using this website, you agree to the collection, processing, and use of data as described below. This website can generally be visited without registration. Data such as accessed pages or names of accessed files, date, and time are stored on the server for statistical purposes without being directly related to your person. If personal data (such as name, address, or email address) is collected on our pages, it is done, as far as possible, on a voluntary basis. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your explicit consent.
3. Processing of Personal Data
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable person. A data subject is a person whose personal data is processed. Processing includes any handling of personal data, regardless of the means and procedures used, in particular the storage, disclosure, procurement, deletion, retention, modification, destruction, and use of personal data.
We process personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection law and for as long as required for the respective purpose or purposes. In the case of longer-term retention obligations due to legal and other obligations we are subject to, we restrict processing accordingly.
Your contact data obtained via email or telephone is not processed outside Switzerland.

4. Cookies
This website uses cookies. These are small text files that allow specific user-related information to be stored on the user’s device while the user is using the website. Cookies enable, in particular, the frequency of use and number of users of the pages to be determined, usage patterns of the site to be analyzed, and our offer to be made more user-friendly. Cookies remain stored beyond the end of a browser session and can be recalled when the site is visited again. If you do not wish this, you should set your Internet browser to refuse the acceptance of cookies.
A general objection to the use of cookies for online marketing purposes can be declared for many services, especially tracking, via the US site http://www.aboutads.info/choices/ or the EU site http://www.youronlinechoices.com/. Furthermore, the storage of cookies can be prevented by disabling them in your browser settings. Please note that if you do this, not all functions of this website may be fully usable.
5. Embedded YouTube Videos
Some of our webpages include embedded YouTube videos. The operator of the corresponding plugins is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA (hereinafter “YouTube”). When you visit a page with the YouTube plugin, a connection to YouTube servers is established. YouTube is informed which pages you visit. If you are logged into your YouTube account, YouTube can associate your browsing behavior with you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account beforehand.
When a YouTube video is started, the provider sets cookies that collect information about user behavior.
More information about the purpose and scope of data collection and its processing by YouTube can be found in the provider’s privacy policies, where you will also find further information about your rights and settings options for protecting your privacy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Google processes your data in the USA and is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
The legal basis for the integration of YouTube and the associated data transfer to Google is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR).
Accessing YouTube automatically triggers a connection to Google.
Anyone who has deactivated the storage of cookies for the Google Ad program will also not have to expect such cookies when watching YouTube videos. YouTube also stores non-personal usage information in other cookies. If you wish to prevent this, you must block the storage of cookies in your browser.
Further information on data protection at “YouTube” can be found in the provider’s privacy policy at: https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy/
Google processes your data in the USA and is subject to the EU-US Privacy Shield https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework.
The provision of your personal data is voluntary, solely based on your consent. If you restrict access, this may lead to functional limitations on the website.
6. SSL/TLS Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as inquiries you send to us as the site operator, this website uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the change in the address line of the browser from “http://” to “https://” and the lock symbol in your browser line.
When SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.
7. Server Log Files
When you access our website, i.e., even if you do not register or otherwise transmit information, information of a general nature is automatically collected. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider, your IP address, referrer URL, date and time of access, and similar data.
This data is processed for the following purposes in particular:
1. Ensuring a smooth connection setup of the website
2. Ensuring a smooth use of our website
3. Ensuring and evaluating system security and stability, in particular for detecting misuse
4. To ensure a technically error-free presentation and optimization of our website.
The data is also stored in the log files of our system. This data is not stored together with other personal data of the user. We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person. However, we reserve the right to check the server log files retrospectively if there are concrete indications of illegal use.
We use service providers for the operation and maintenance of our website who act as our data processors. All service providers are obligated to treat your data confidentially.
Your data will not be transferred abroad.
Our website is maintained by service providers acting as our data processors. Anyone committing a copyright infringement without the consent of the respective copyright holders may be liable to prosecution and may be subject to claims for damages.
9. Google WebFonts
This website uses so-called web fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts. When you call up a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache to display texts and fonts correctly. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.
